New paper: remote sensing of ploidy level

Can you tell much about the genetics of a population just by looking at a landscape? Our new study suggests the answer is ‘yes’, based on measurements of the iconic tree of western North America, quaking aspen (Populus tremuloides).

We just had a new paper out showing how, which you can read at the journal – or directly download a PDF copy.

We also put together a blog post summarizing the work, which Journal of Ecology is also featuring – check it out here!
