Interested in joining the lab for an independent postdoctoral fellowship? I’m recruiting candidates who would like to develop independent research proposals. My areas of interest are broad, and include at least community ecology, trait-based ecology, global change ecology, control theory applications to ecology, remote sensing, biogeography, human use of plants, and forest ecology. I’m also interested in supporting candidates who might want to work on the interface between ecology and another field. The lab provides an inclusive and supportive mentoring environment, and currently is home to a diverse international team (https://benjaminblonder.org/people/). Candidates from historically marginalized backgrounds are particularly encouraged to get in touch.
